The right ESL pre-K educational materials can facilitate learning and more fun. Take for example the research of Dr. Howard Gardner, who came with the theory of multiple intelligences. This essentially rules that is the idea that the best way of learning for children by sitting at a table doing "desk." Instead, Gardner localized different "intelligences" which are essentially learning styles. Each has a specific intelligence (or a few specific intelligences) that defines howhe or she learns best. This means that to reach all children in a classroom, different learning methods are available to them. The multiple intelligences are
* Linguistic intelligence: Learning and using spoken and written
* Logical-mathematical intelligence: Logically analyze problems, identify patterns, reasoning.
to appreciate the performance, composition and musical patterns: * musical intelligence.
* Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence:solve the whole body or body parts, the problems.
* Spatial intelligence: the recognition of patterns of wide space and confined areas.
* Interpersonal intelligence: working effectively with others.
* Intrapersonal intelligence: Understanding self and feelings.
Through the use of games and other activities in the classroom, you can use language to create a class time, different intelligences, which investigates and reaches a large number of children, not just theLearners.
It is also important to remember that preschoolers simply learn best through play. Just think about how children learn to count preschool. You can count how many cars have played or how many blocks are stacked.
Here's an example of how to transform an ordinary vocabulary activities in a thrilling game stimulates imagination and encourages children to a better conservation. Imagine teaching colors. Tell your children they are piratestheir treasure overboard and lost, they must dive down and recover. Spread colored objects or cards around the floor. Demonstrate, by leaving in a big breath, breath and dive down and take a colored object, then back on the air and ask the children to name the color, or whatever you want, depending on whether you're doing a talk or listening activities. Then tell the children dip the colors from time to collect. You could even more dramaticallyDimming the lights when the children dive and turn, if sent to the surface. The children can then sort the treasure of different colors, to store safely in treasure chests (boxes or bags - one for each color).
Every pediatrician will tell you that the best way to encourage a large vocabulary in your children is to read every day.
