My grandmother always said ...
"One of the greatest gifts you can give your children is to teach them about sharing and tithing ... starting with the family!
So my 4 children all share a room. The boys share a room ... and girls in a room. Even Mom and Dad share a room!
It 's so important for children to learn to share and as caregivers to be able to get along with others and be truly happy as adults.
What better way to learn to share, to participate aswith your brother or sister? They also share some toys - again - learning the importance of sharing.
It is not warm your heart when someone shares something special with you? It could be chocolate (my favorite!), A home-made cakes, a compliment, or just a smile.
But it is difficult to teach children the importance of tithing their money.
It is even more difficult with small children!
Here are 3 fun games that tithing helps to understand what your childmeans:
1. Race to Give
Collect 10 pieces (candy, marbles, small toy, etc.) and put one end of the room.
Put a pad on it with 10 points for each element.
Now you have your race kids of all 10 words on their place mat.
Then the students that one of the 10 items that you return to Jesus to thank for all their happiness.
This teaches them to return (tenth) 10% of their blessings.
2. Counting coins Selig
Graf10 different coins for your child to take a look.
And do not forget to tell them, the President or someone important is on every coin!
Then you should choose a medal blessed who think Jesus
Now they say that only one-tenth of God!
3. Shop Sharing
Buy now play with virtual money where your child goes to the store to buy a 10
Then ask which element they share with Jesus
Tenth happy!
